World Cup Games
While November usually holds excitement for Thanksgiving, enthusiasm has been building up all month in preparation for the upcoming World Cup. Held every four years, spectators watch the contest with bated breath as countries clash with one another in fierce competition. And while getting your passport and tickets to the event in question might present itself with a degree of difficulty, another option is just as exciting. While McGrath’s Irish Ale House is open all year long, and the festivities are always far from over, we’re throwing our doors open during the World Cup to create an environment and atmosphere that will make the event that much more enjoyable.
Game Day Arrives on November 20th
The World Cup officially kicks off on November 20th at 8:00 AM. We’ll be displaying the matches that occur on that day and time, as well as those that occur at 8:00 AM, 11:00 am, and 2:00 PM the following day. There’s a lot to be excited about. While the event begins on the 20th with the match between Qatar and Ecuador, the next day is when things REALLY kick into high gear, with the 8:00 AM game on the 21st taking place between England and Iran. Other games that day include Senegal duking it out with the Netherlands and the team from the United States going up against Wales.
